POSITION: SENIOR COST CONTROLLER (OIL & GAS)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City (Onshore)

Key Responsibilities

• Support budget planning & revisions (WPB / AFE) for drilling operations
• Monitor cost performance, forecast EAC, and track VOWD, accruals & commitments
• Control contract costs, POs, and Work Orders in line with approved budgets
• Review and verify contractor invoices against contract terms and work progress
• Manage AFE lifecycle (preparation, tracking, close-out)
• Deliver monthly cost reports and support JV reporting
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, SCM, and planning teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering
• Minimum 7 years in Oil & Gas, with 3–5 years in cost control / planning
• Strong knowledge of AFE / WPB / cost control processes
• Experience in contract cost tracking & invoice verification
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is a plus
• Fluent in English
